Pick & Picnic

Come and join us for our first Pick & Picnic event where we will pick some of the fresh organic produce that’s available at the farm. This session we hope to be picking plums and damsons. You can bring just yourself or the whole family. Supported by our team of volunteers we will show you all you need to know. You will leave with a share of the fruit you have picked and the remainder will be used to support our partners at local foodbanks, businesses and good causes.
The produce we pick on this day is on trees so smaller children may struggle to reach so please bear this in mind. They will however have plenty of space to run around and play whilst we pick.
Afterwards you are welcome to bring along a picnic and enjoy it in one of our many beautiful spaces including bonga tent, community garden and green areas. There is an on site cafe and toilets near the entrance to the site at Cafe Velo Verde.
