Discover Our Journey So Far

FarmEco is a Community Benefit Society based in Screveton, Nottinghamshire. Founded in 2017, the farm began with the planting of thousands of fruit and nut trees across 45 acres of land, creating one of the region’s largest and most mature agroforestry systems.

Today, we care for these trees, tend our organic vegetable garden, welcome school groups and visitors, run community activities and events, and support wildlife conservation across the wider 60 acres of farm.

Our members value the sense of belonging created here — a place where people come together, connect with nature, and share in the harvest of organic produce and foraged foods.

Our Vision

To be a thriving, inclusive community where people benefit from the wellbeing that comes through connection with nature, with each other, and with organic local food that is accessible to all.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance public understanding of food, farming and the natural world by operating a community farm that provides hands‑on learning, training and experiences designed to improve health and wellbeing.

We are also committed to the conservation, protection and enhancement of the farm’s wildlife and habitats, ensuring that FarmEco remains a flourishing landscape for generations to come.
