The Board

David Walker
ChairmanDavid is an Emeritus Professor of Paediatric Oncology at the University of Nottingham Medical School with an extensive background as a university teacher, clinician, and academic researcher. At FarmEco Community Farm, David serves as a Board Member and the Biodiversity Monitoring Lead.

Elizabeth Hammond
SecretaryComing from a farming background, Lil is currently a lecturer at Brakenhurst College. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the farm in terms of caring for the trees, planning other crops and educational visits.

Neil Southwell
TreasurerNeil brings over 25 years of financial and operational expertise across commercial, municipal, and non-profit sectors. An ACCA Part Qualified professional with an HND in Business Studies, he specializes in financial governance, statutory compliance, and budgeting.

David Rose
DirectorFounder member of FarmEco and landowner of the wider farm, David Rose is a Woodland Trust Ambassador and Nuffield Trustee. He had the vision to plant the farm with agroforestry fields and hosts various research projects including VitAgri.

Kevin Bryant
DirectorRepresenting the local community, Kevin has been involved with FarmEco for many years, whether it is pruning currant bushes, raising money or helping fix things.
The Staff

Ann Dean
CEOPrevious CEO of an AIDS charity in Africa and ex-medical doctor, Ann has retrained in permaculture. She takes a lead in building the organisation and keeping oversight of all the different projects and activities on the farm.

Wayne Singleton
Activities LeadWith a passion in building communities and bringing people to the farm, Wayne puts together and leads various events on the farm as well as making sure all the crops get harvested.
