FarmEco Saturdays are our monthly community action days, bringing together people who share a love of nature, the outdoors and making a positive difference on our community farm. Whether you’re an experienced gardener, passionate about wildlife, a family with children or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend your weekend, everyone is welcome.

COME ALONG AND JOIN US AND YOU WILL:

Boost your wellbeing – Enjoy gentle physical activity, improve your mental wellbeing and leave feeling refreshed, energised and inspired.

Find your community – Meet friendly, like-minded people who share a love of nature, sustainability and making a positive impact.

Learn new skills – Every session is an opportunity to gain practical experience and discover something new.

Reconnect with nature – Take a break from busy schedules and spend time immersed in the countryside. You will feel the benefits of fresh air, open spaces and meaningful time outdoors.

Make a lasting difference – Every FarmEco Saturday contributes to restoring habitats, supporting biodiversity and helping our farm thrive for future generations.

What to Expect

Every FarmEco Saturday is different, with activities changing throughout the seasons. You might find yourself:

• Planting trees or hedgerows

• Growing fruit and vegetables

• Creating wildlife habitats

• Caring for our trees and woodland

• Supporting regenerative farming projects

• Helping with seasonal harvesting and distributing of food

We’ll begin the day with a warm welcome, introduce the activities and provide all the guidance, tools and equipment you’ll need. There’ll be time to enjoy a communal lunch (please bring a packed lunch with you), chat with fellow participants and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Feel free to join us from 10-12 or 1-3, or simply stay all day with us!

No pressure. No experience required. Just a chance to spend your Saturday differently.

Who Can Join?

FarmEco Saturdays are open to anyone who enjoys being outdoors and wants to make a positive contribution.

Whether you come on your own, with friends or as part of a group, you’ll receive a warm welcome from our team and community. Children are actively encouraged to join in but remain the responsibility of their parent or carer at all times.

Everyone starts somewhere—and we’ll be with you every step of the way.

What Should I Bring?

✔ Sturdy footwear

✔ Clothes suitable for the weather

✔ A packed lunch (if staying all day)

✔ A reusable water bottle

We’ll provide gloves, tools, equipment and plenty of tea, coffee and encouragement!
