Apple Pressing Taster at Growing Communities Launch

We grow around 20 different varieties of heritage apples at FarmEco. These are all grown in our organic agroforestry fields, free from any nasty chemicals. As we start the apple-harvesting season, join in with a small group learning how to turn our apples into delicious juice. The varieties available will depend on what is ripe at the time, which depends on the weather. Taste the end product; so much better than shop bought, and take a small bottle home with you.

The workshop will involve chopping up apples with sharp knives, so not suitable for under 16 yrs. We will be using our small, manual apple press which uses manpower rather than electricity to function.
