Family Farm Tour

Come and join us for a full tour of our community farm with plenty of kids activities to keep you busy. This is also your chance to tell us what you would like to see and be involved in at FarmEco and to become a part of our community.

We will begin in the community garden where we will do some planting, seed sowing and talk about that project.

We then move to the bonga tent and labyrinth to showcase that space and there will be a ‘food chain’ challenge for the children to find and complete.

A steady walk down through our agroforestry area and into our edible woodland after that where we will show you around the hundreds of fruit trees we have on site whilst our sheep graze underneath them.

Afterwards we will head to our woodland camp to have our lunch or snacks (please bring packed lunch & drinks with you) around our campfire space. There will be time here for the kids to have free-play, build dens or play games before we head back up to the community garden together.

Please bring sensible footwear, plenty of drinking water, snacks or packed lunch. The ground is uneven around the site and therefore not suitable for prams etc so any smaller children will either need to be able to walk or be carried.
