School visits

FarmEco offers inspiring educational farm-activity visits for primary school groups.  For a two to four hour session primary school children take part in a range of activities aimed at increasing their awareness of how food is grown, the importance of soil health and farm animals. Sessions are run by a trained member of staff in line with the national curriculum. We can tailor visits to cover whatever topics you are covering in the curriculum whether it is science, art or other subjects. Expect the day to be both fun and educational.

The group is welcome to stay and have their packed lunches in the bongo tent or polytunnel and to explore the labyrinth to let off steam before returning home.

We do have free school visit bursaries available each year. We are happy to welcome children with SEN or disabilities.

We are also able to offer bespoke sessions e.g. nature connection and art, horticulture,  work experience etc for older groups including college and university students.
